PASeries TestNav Delivery System Software

Download the PASeries TestNav delivery system to each computer (Windows or Macintosh) or a file server within your LAN/WAN environment. This software is needed to take a test.

Upgrade Installation

– Download Installer (5.31M) for Macintosh OS X.3 or higher
– Download Installer (17.9M) for Windows (with Java VM)

Full Installation

– Download Installer (5.31M) for Macintosh OS X.3 or higher
– Download Installer (17.9M) for Windows (with Java VM)

Verifying the PASeries TestNav Install

To verify that PASeries TestNav is installed correctly and can access your eMeasurement Services site, follow these steps:

1. Launch PASeries TestNav by double clicking on the PASeries TestNav shortcut icon on your desktop.
2. Enter this URL in the PASeries TestNav drop-down address field:
   http://www9.etest.pearson.com/ETEST
3. Click the Go button. When the PASeries TestNav login screen appears, you have verified a successful installation.
   
   • You can close the window by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner of the screen (on a Windows machine), or by clicking the red X in the upper-left corner of the screen (on a Mac).

Proctor Caching Software

This software is used to accelerate the delivery of test content in the eMeasurement environment and reduce the amount of bandwidth required for electronic testing. It is recommended for use with TestNav and is required for use with Audio TestNav. The Proctor Caching Software is available in both Macintosh and Windows versions. Refer to the Proctor Caching User’s Guide for specifics on installing, configuring, and using the Proctor Caching Software.
